Stuck on a Design Decision?

Get expert advice before an expensive mistake becomes permanent.

You don’t need a full-service design project to benefit from professional design expertise.

Whether you’re questioning a kitchen layout, struggling with lighting, reviewing plans or simply need an experienced second opinion, these focused virtual consultations give you direct access to 20+ years of kitchen, bath and lighting design experience — exactly when you need it.

Ask A Designer – $175 + HST

One problem. One Conversation. Expert Direction. 45-60 minutes

Sometimes you don’t need a complete design package — you just need an experienced professional to help you make one decision with confidence.

Bring your plans, photos, product options or renovation questions to a focused 45-minute virtual consultation. We can look at layout concerns, finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, space planning, lighting, accessibility or that one decision you’ve been going back and forth on for days.

Ideal for: specific renovation questions, finish or fixture decisions, layout concerns, conflicting advice, or anyone who wants expert guidance without committing to a larger design service.

Includes: 45-minute virtual consultation.

Design – Second Opinion $295 + HST

Before you commit to the plan, have an expert look at it.

Renovation decisions become expensive once products are ordered and construction begins. If you already have plans, cabinetry drawings or a design concept but something doesn’t quite feel right, an experienced second opinion can help identify issues while they’re still easy to change.

I’ll review the information you provide before our meeting, then we’ll spend 75 minutes looking at the decisions that matter most — including layout, functionality, workflow, clearances, storage, lighting and fixture or appliance placement.

Ideal for: kitchen and bathroom plans, cabinetry layouts, renovation proposals, pre-construction reviews or simply getting an independent professional perspective before committing.

Includes: pre-consultation review + 75-minute virtual consultation.

Before you spend thousands renovating, spend 75 minutes making sure you’re solving the right problems.

Additional design services or drawings can be quoted separately if required.

Lighting SOS $395 + HST

More lights don’t necessarily mean better lighting.

If your space feels too dark, overly bright, flat, uncomfortable — or you’re simply unsure whether a proposed lighting plan will actually work — this consultation helps identify the problem before you spend money on the wrong solution.

I’ll review your photos, plans and existing or proposed lighting, then meet with you for a 90-minute virtual consultation to evaluate fixture placement, light levels, glare, colour temperature, task lighting, controls and overall lighting quality.

You’ll leave with clear, practical recommendations for improving how your space looks, feels and functions.

Ideal for: existing lighting problems, renovation lighting plans, pot-light layouts, kitchen and bathroom lighting, fixture selection, or getting a professional second opinion before installation.

Includes: pre-consultation review + 90-minute virtual consultation + concise recommendation summary.

Detailed lighting plans, photometric calculations, fixture specifications, sourcing and trade coordination can be provided separately if required.
