Before making any plans let's chat for a few minutes to see if we are a good fit for you and your goals. This is a virtual 20-minute meeting. To get the most out of this time, consider the room or rooms you are looking for help with. Are you renovating a Kitchen? or a Bathroom? Perhaps you are just loooking for a piant consultation.
We have multiple-size design packages to fit a variety of needs and budgets. Not sure which package fits your needs and project? Schedule a consultation to discuss your project in more detail.
A consultation is an in-depth meeting to determine the finer details of your project - approx 2 hrs. A nominal fee is charged ($495) for the time and can be applied towards a design package should you choose to move forward with one of our design packages.
Kitchens and bathrooms are the most complex areas of any home. When planning these spaces it is important to understand not only the functionality of the end user(s) but how to make it all work within the space. Understanding of local building code guidelines and restrictions as well as safety, ergonomics and longevity of a design, the value of implementing as many National Kitchen & Bath Guidelines as possible can truly make your space stand the test of time.
It is our goal to achieve the best possible design for your and your space.
Our Full-Service Design Package walks you and your family through each and every step:
STEP 1 -Getting to know you and your family is a crucial first step. After chatting on the phone or through email you will be able to get a sense if our design approach matches your goals.
STEP 2 - Booking the Consultation - lets us meet in your space to get a better understanding of the project, goals, styles, budgets etc. This is typically a 1-2 hour meeeting.
STEP 3 - Selecting a design package that fits your needs and budget. If you feel a trust and connection (from the consultation) and would like to move forward we can help you select the design package that is right for you.
STEP 4 - The drawings are in and modifications have been made. Time to start choosing the "fun" stuff! Colours, finishes, fixtures and materials. This is when the design comes to life and your style shines. Selecting door styles, flooring, countertops, faucets/sinks, handles and backsplash can seem like a daunting task with 1000's of options and millions of combinations we are here to guide you every step of the way with recommendations and options that work for your home, the design and your budget.
STEP 5 - Materials, styles and products have been selected, approved and are on budget. Time to "pull the trigger" and begin ordering! As lead times are determined the start date of your project can be set. Deposits are paid and the scope of work is shared with the trade team (yours or ours). This allows the team to make any suggestions or recommendations before materials have been ordered to ensure quantities and accessories are included. We will also provide a few tips to prepare you for the chaos of renovations and "how to" thrive not just survive.
STEP 6 - After all the hard work and time to plan, organize, and make endless decisions the day has come and the renovation begins. We can manage the project for you as an option or work with your team. Either way we are here to answer any questions.
STEP 7 - Enjoy! Your home has been updated to a beautiful and functional space. But the relationship isn't over. We are here for the long haul in the event any products or materials we provided are not living up to the manufacturer warranty expectations.
