Stittsville ensuite

Before and After

Kitchen & Bathrooms that limit the full experience of your home are transformed into comfortable, enjoyable spaces that you can truly live in.

The backdrop and inspiration for this ensuite bathroom was an incredible freestanding copper bathtub. A true piece of art in itself! Ornate inspiration set the standard for the space for the double vanity. We wanted to create a furniture piece that appeared to be its own freestanding element. The sink cabinets are adorned with detailed wood onlays that become a beautiful focal point with the hand scraped antique finish of the warm white cabinets. Detailed corner pillars with Queen Ann legs give the furniture detail only completed with a full width vanity valance below the bank of cabinets tying the units together as one. Above the “his and hers” sinks are separated with fluted columns and detailed corbels to frame each section.

A custom corner shower features body sprays, hand held and rain shower heads with a small corner bench for easy grooming. The soft white marble tile is found throughout the space using different size tiles for each application.

The opposite too the double vanity is a make-up/seating area. Filling the space to the left of the seating area with necessary storage and open shelves for special items gives just the right balance for this open deluxe bathroom. Columns and onlays mirror the finish detail from the vanity while maintaining the need for a more open design.

The quartzite countertops blend beautifully with the soft white hand scraped cabinets and the variety of marble tile throughout the bathroom. Different mosaic tile was used for the backdrop of the feature free standing copper bathtub and inside the shower enclosure creating a beautiful blend of detail and finishes throughout.
